ImpactField Global Youth Initiative celebrates International Day of Education, implores students to be diligent in learning.

The youth-led, student friendly Non-Governmental Organization, ImpactField Global Youth Initiative encourages secondary students to be diligent in their studies as it is through effective learning that people live peacefully and the planet experience prosperity.

The team members of the organization paid a visit to Raymond College Enugu and had a special time with the students.

The team were welcomed by the management of the school led by Mr. Raymond Adie, the director and where they spoke to all the students of the school at the assembly ground.

The group emphasised that education is a key to effective living and there is nothing as good as learning.

In his speech, the founding president of the organization, Amb. Gideon Chiedozie Okeke, informed the students of what the day is, 24th January 2020 – the International Day of Education, and the reason to commemorate the day with beautiful students as they are.

Solomon Chimaechi Okeke, the co-founder, in his speech focused on the United Nations theme for the year’s celebration, “Learning for People, Planet, Prosperity and Peace,” encouraged the students to pay attention to their academic and shut their hearts against all forms of distractions, stop imitating popular musicians who are anti education and positive well-being as it is a barrier to effective learning. He further emphaized that the business of any student is to study, hence they should be diligent in same as that’s the only gurantee for them to work with kings in the nearest future.

The director specially appreciated the team. Expressing his gratitude, he promised the students that he’d bring back the ImpactField group for a more intensive session in the nearest future.

The teams members had an interaction with some of the students who sought their attention after their presentation.

In conclusion, ImpactField seeks to increase learning outcomes in schools in Nigeria through her advocacy and orientations.
